SUBMITTING AN ARTICLE

The Nwerash International Journal of Islamic Thought (NIJIT) welcomes original and unpublished research papers, review articles, case studies, and critical essays in English. Authors are encouraged to carefully read the Submission Guidelines and Style Guide before sending their manuscripts.

How to Submit

  1. Online Submission

    • All manuscripts must be submitted through the OJS submission system available at www.nijit.com.pk.

    • Authors must create an account or log in to upload their manuscript and related files.

  2. Manuscript Requirements

    • The manuscript should be prepared according to the journal’s Style Guide.

    • Submissions must include:

      • Title page (with author names, affiliations, and contact details)

      • Abstract (150–250 words) and 4–6 keywords

      • Main text (4,000–8,000 words)

      • References formatted according to APA 7th edition

  3. Ethical Standards

    • Authors must ensure their work is original and free from plagiarism.

    • Simultaneous submission to other journals is strictly prohibited.

  4. Peer Review

    • Submissions are subject to double-blind peer review.

    • Authors may be asked to revise manuscripts based on reviewers’ feedback before final acceptance.

  5. Open Access & Licensing

    • All accepted articles are published under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0).

    • Articles are freely accessible, downloadable, and shareable without restrictions.
